Shearing machines can be roughly classified into: manual shearing machines, electric shearing machines, mechanical digital shearing machines, electronic digital shearing machines, semi-CNC shearing machines, and fully CNC shearing machines. There are too many types for me to explain them one by one. The above types are the levels of shearing machines from low to high.

Differences between swing shearing machines and gate shearing machines:
The angle of the swing shearing machine is fixed and cannot be adjusted, while the gate shearing machine can adjust the angle. When shearing plates of different material thicknesses, the shearing angle is adjusted to make the sheared plates straight and without waste. The plates sheared by the swing shearing machine have a bevel error of 0.3-0.5mm, while the gate shearing machine does not have this error and is straight. Especially when shearing narrow materials, the distortion and deformation of the swing shearing machine is significantly larger than that of the gate shearing machine. The burrs cut out by the swing shearing machine are larger than those of the gate shearing machine, because the swing shearing machine can only cut half of the thickness, and the other half of the thickness is torn apart by breaking, while the gate shearing machine is completely cut by force, and the surface finish of the sheared plate is much better than that of the swing shearing machine. Therefore, if the customer needs to cut narrow materials, the surface finish of the sheared plate should be good, the burrs should be less, and the straightness should be good, it is recommended to choose the gate shearing machine. If the requirements are not high, it is recommended to choose the swing shearing machine.
The difference between ordinary digital shearing machine and full CNC shearing machine:
The shearing efficiency of full CNC shearing machine is much higher than that of digital display, and the operation is simple and convenient! For example, if you want to cut different sizes of plates on a plate, you can directly input the data of what size a whole plate needs to be cut in the full CNC system, and then manually push the plate and step on the foot switch. There is no need to rely on manual measurement to locate the size before cutting like digital shearing machine. Due to the habit and strength of the operator, the digital shearing machine causes the sheared plate to have a greater straightness, a lot of waste, and time-consuming, labor-intensive, and cost-consuming. Full CNC shearing machine can save and memorize the programmed plates, and each time you cut the same plate size, you can directly call it out and use it, without repeated programming.
What are the consequences and impacts of poor straightness or low quality of sheared plates:
If the cut plate is not good, it will directly affect the precision error of slotting, bending, and punching. The final workpiece has low precision. Suppose one day you want to upgrade to robot automatic bending or automatic welding, then you will have a headache. It is very likely that because you choose the wrong equipment today, the product precision is not high and you cannot use higher-level automated supporting equipment, such as robot automatic welding. Then you have to consider changing equipment again. So I said that the investment strategy is to test 1 1>2 and you win. Everyone is complaining about the poor market and high labor costs. The gross profit on the surface is considerable, but the net profit is not high! So I think that in this market environment, we must transform as soon as possible, and we must improve product quality, reduce after-sales costs to a minimum, and use machine automation to control product quality! The key step in investment is to buy the right equipment. Buying good equipment is bitter at the beginning and sweet at the end. Buying bad equipment will be a dilemma!
